A super simple Sunday. First, I played a fun game over on Steam called The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day and it was not only free-to-play this weekend, but it was “own forever” if you downloaded it within the time allotted. Now, I only got just over eight hours of playtime, so it was a fairly short Part One, but it looks like the next part will be out in 2020, so something to look forward to this year…
As you can see at the top, I had a sleepy shih tzu, Lucy, hanging out on the couch most of the day. Made some pizza again, but also made some rolls. Totally forgot to take pictures of the rolls post-proof. So just imagine really tall rolls that just clear the top of the pan, then, add the whole “golden brown” thing, and you have what the rolls look like after they’re cooked. I promise to share better pictures of the rolls next time. But for today, you get dough!
And that’s about it. With the turmoil going on in the world today, there’s no end of places you can get bad news. So for now, I’ll just leave you with a positive image I took a few years back, for Utata’s Iron Photographer number 196, entitled My Persimmon. It’s one of my favorite pieces, and it took a lot of time to arrange things, including finding the Japanese version of this famous haiku, and getting it brushed onto pretty paper with ink. Plus, vegan sushi is yummy. Enjoy!
